About Laura
I paint abstract landscape inspired by nature to energize spaces for adventurous hearts.
I was born into a warm family of Italian architects. My childhood has been filled with sweetness, and thanks to my parents, I developed a deep love for life and an appreciation for beauty.
As an only child (until the age of eleven when I gained a sister), I spent a lot of time alone, which cultivated an inner world rich in colors and spirituality.
I have always found solace in nature, which has served as my greatest inspiration. Even now, I seek out these spaces not to isolate myself from others but to connect with the profound andstunning aspects of life.
When I was seventeen, my father died in an accident, and although my family and I were devastated, something profound stirred within me. In those years, I learned to
rise from the ashes and find appreciation for life by transforming grief and sorrow. Since then, this has been my approach to life.
I am reminded of the words of the poet Rumi:
"The wound is the place where the Light enters you"
Communication of my inner reality has always been a struggle for me, but art has served as a mean to externalize what I held within.
In 2020, my life underwent another profound change, and I embraced the idea of rebuilding it based on my deepest desire: creating art.
Since then, I have studied illustration, graphic design, drawing, composition, and alla prima oil painting. Many people have accompanied me on this journey: my daughters, my husband, my mother, my entire family, and numerous friends, both old and new ones that joined along the way.
Together, we have discovered many things, the most significant one is that the best adventure is building our dreams together.
Today, I live in Northern Spain with my husband and two beautiful daughters. My strongest desire is to create art inspired by the beauty of nature, to uplift adventurous hearts like mine.
